Round 1 voting in this year’s Drum&BassArena Awards is now open!<\/p>\n

Here’s your opportunity to make some noise for the artists, labels and crews who have continued to champion the genre we love and have pushed the scene to places we never thought possible.<\/p>\n

You have just 13 days to get your votes in. Votes in this round will determine the nominees that go head-to-head in Round 2.<\/p>\n

Out with the old, in with the new (category)<\/strong><\/p>\n

For this year’s Awards we\u2019ve changed a few categories and added some new options: following the addition of the Best Remix category in 2015, this year\u2019s Awards will also include a prize for Best New Label.<\/p>\n

We all know the big players, but it\u2019s time the newer labels got some props for pushing the scene forward, taking risks and providing platforms for new talent. Any new label that launched since December 2013 will be eligible for the Best New Label award.<\/p>\n

The Best Newcomer award has also been introduced: open for all new producers, MCs and DJs, this will take the place of previous Best Newcomer DJ, Best Newcomer Producer and Best Newcomer MC awards.<\/p>\n

Finally, we have added the Critic\u2019s Choice award. Voted for by drum &amp; bass\u2019s leading bloggers, writers, reviewers and reporters who continue to champion the music, the idea is that this award will shed light on the furthest corners of D&amp;B\u2019s wide spectrum.<\/p>\n
