Drum&BassArena Awards 2016

Drum&BassArena Awards 2015: The Winners

A sizeable chunk of the drum & bass industry will still be nursing serious hangovers…

The Drum&BassArena Awards: A chance for D&B lovers, DJs, artists, MCs, labels, managers, agents, promoters and every behind the scene insider in between to gather, catch up, make new friends and enjoy some a rare unhurried, unified fun simply for the love of what we do.

It’s been this way for seven years. A unique event on the D&B calendar (thanks to its rather grown-up table arrangement) there really is nothing quite like it. And while we say this every year, it really does get better with each show we host. Last night was certainly a whole new level as each label / team set up camp at their tables and cheered each other on with more excitement than ever as hosts Charlie T and Jenna G guided us through each award with slick dynamism.

We laughed (when Noisia won an award for something they don’t even do) We cried (when Jenna read out a touching tribute to Diane Charlemagne and inducted her into the Hall Of Fame) We nearly died (this morning with the aforementioned hangovers)

The acts were on incredible form, too: JFB opened with a deck-melting DMC-level exhibition set, Riya turned Brixton Electric on its head with her live show, General Levy took us back to 1994 in massive jungle style and Serum & Bladerunner provided a chop-walloping b2b afterparty soundtrack.

Tens of thousands of you voted, thousands of you tuned on live stream and hundreds of you came down to party with us. A huge thank you to everyone of you who took part and got involved in this year’s Drum&BassArena Awards, it’s been a blast.

Enough chat now, here are the winners as voted by you – the worldwide drum & bass loving community.

Roll on 2016!
