What type of information do we collect from our subscribers?
You may be asked to submit personal information about yourself in order to use the services on the Site. For regular online registration this is your email address and if you complete your profile this includes first name, last name and mobile number (all optional). By connecting via facebook, you provide access to your basic information by default, which includes name, picture, gender and locale, plus your email address. When you connect via facebook we will post one message on your timeline to tell your friends you have connected to Drum&BassArena. To place an order on the Site you will be asked to submit credit card information and billing address in order for us to process payment. If you do not wish to provide this data directly to Drum&BassArena you can pay using PayPal.
How do we use your data?
By entering your details on the Site you hereby authorise Drum&BassArena and its service and content providers to provide you with the services you have selected. All of the information you provide is essential to provide or personalise the service you have requested from Drum&BassArena.
When you enter the Site your computer will automatically be issued with a cookie. Cookies used by Drum&BassArena are text files that identify your computer to our Server to allow two main functions: personalised log in and a cart which is saved even when you leave this site. We also use cookies to provide aggregate data for analytics (unlike the main functional cookies this data is not personally identifiable). You can turn cookies off and use the site but you will not be able to log in or purchase and you will see this message on each visit.
Drum&BassArena will automatically send you transactional emails such as order confirmation, zip download notifications, sign up instructions and password resets. You may also receive promotional information including regular release updates and special offers. Drum&BassArena will not send you, or authorise any third party to send you, any promotional information unless you specifically opt into any information mailing list we may create.
How to unsubscribe:
If, at any time, you prefer not to receive email marketing information from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. Alternatively you can contact us at unsubscribe@breakbeat.co.uk and instruct us to remove your email address from our marketing database. For us to be able to do so, please include your email address in the body of your email and write “Unsubscribe” in the subject line. Drum&BassArena will take all reasonable measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under Drum&BassArena’s control and to ensure that the Site has complied with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 or any other relevant United Kingdom legislation relating to the handling of personal information. If any of the information that you have provided to us changes you must notify us by editing your billing information in Your Account.
